Classic WRX

I just bought a MY00 WRX, the last year that Subaru built the classic shape (GC8) WRX.

It is clearly the best looking of all the WRXs.

I will be getting rid of those big chrome rims that the previous owner put on the car, and replacing them with a light weight racing rim, probably volk...

Mitsubishi puts an end to the run of queer cars coming out of Japan

With the new WRX looking like a cross between a Prius (Toyota's Hybrid) and a 1995 Honda Civic Bubble Back and many other big names like Nissan designing more and more cars that looked like they came out of a kinder surprise... the future of Jap sports cars was looking grim.

Thankfully Mitsubishi has designed their new series of Lancers with an aggressive look. Vented bonnets, big rims and a face like an Aston Martin. (article below)

The even better news is that they aren't the only ones... Nissan are creating a V36 Skyline GTR to be released in Japan in 2008 (pictures below) which also looks aggressive enough to match its performance specs.

I think this is the picture of just the standard Lancer, the EVO X will look even more bad-ass.
